Description

The approach proposed in this book considers motor behavior as an evolutionary neuro-psychological process, which depends both on hereditary factors and their continuous interaction with environmental factors. For the study of movement disorders, this methodological approach focuses on each level of processing (of a motor reaction) separately, based on the neural structures responsible for it. It seeks answers to general and specific issues of physical, motor, cognitive, and psychological development. Therefore, it uses the same methods and techniques as any evolutionary research.

This work is aimed at students, psychologists, and educators, as well as anyone studying human development.
