Dimitrios M. Rekkas

is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Pharmacy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). His teaching and research areas focus on the development, characterization, and optimization of pharmaceutical products and their production processes, within the framework of their design and quality assurance.

Stavros N. Politis

is a pharmacist with postgraduate studies in Industrial Pharmacy and a doctoral thesis in Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Pharmacy of NKUA. He has extensive experience in the development of pharmaceutical products and processes, with an emphasis on the application of Quality by Design principles. He is also a co-author of articles in his field and the book "Total Quality Management." He is the director of the research and development department at ELPEN.
