This Atlas, with its more than 1,000 images, is primarily intended for those who
work with and wish to familiarize themselves with blood cells. For this purpose,
the 20 chapters of this Atlas present the common physiological and pathological
cells found in peripheral blood and bone marrow smears, as they are observed in daily practice. The photographs are accompanied by texts that highlight the specific characteristics of the cells, those that distinguish and differentiate them from each other. The final section of the book is exclusively dedicated to differential diagnosis and presents images of individual or multiple cells that may lead to misdiagnosis.
