Dimitris Panagiotopoulos is a Professor at the University of Athens, Attorney at the Supreme Court and Council of State, Director of the D.P. Panagiotopoulos & Partners Law Firm, former Vice-President and President of the Research Committee, University of Central Greece (2010-2013), Honorary Professor of Nanjing Science and Technology University, China. He is also the President of the International Association of Sports Law (IASL) and the Greek Center of Sports Law Research (EKEAD).
He has been invited and made a speech in many Universities around the world and has scientifically edited the Code of Athletic Spirit, Ethics and Deontology of the Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC), Athens 2021. He has received many scientific awards for his contribution in the area of Sports law and his work has been warmly recognized in Greece and abroad.

He has published over 230 scientific studies in Greek and International scientific journals, and has participated in many Greek and international scientific conferences and Congresses.
