This textbook was written with the aim of contributing to the improvement of knowledge for readers who wish to learn about the approach and method of game development. It includes the basic principles and operational rules for the technical and tactical actions involved in organizing a match. It is structured into three main parts related to defensive and offensive tactics. The first part describes general elements concerning match tactics. The second and third parts thoroughly analyze the actions performed by a player, a part of the team, or the entire team in order to achieve the final goal in organizing and conducting a handball match. The methodical exercises presented for teaching all technical and tactical actions constitute a positive contribution, especially to the improvement of match tactics. It is primarily addressed to students of the Departments of Physical Education & Sport Science at universities across the country and is recommended as an essential resource for enriching knowledge related to the teaching of handball and, by extension, the coaching process.
